The decision to sell your home is a big one. Whether this will be your first time selling or you’ve sold several before, my team and I are here to facilitate the process.

When representing a home seller, our job is to get you the most money possible, protect your interests throughout the transaction, and make the entire process as easy on you as you like.

Prepare Your Home for Sale

Before listing your home, we’ll want to make sure your home has the broadest appeal possible. In todays market, buyers are choosing homes that are dialed in and ready to move into, and passing on ones that aren't. Cosmetic changes can have a big impact in the eyes of a buyer, such as replacing outdated light fixtures or giving your home a fresh coat of paint. We can work with you to help identify updates that may help increase the value of your home.

Determine your homes value

Choosing the right price for your home is one of the most important components of the selling process. While online algorithm-estimates can be a fine place to start, having us out to walk through your home and see your neighborhood will provide a far more accurate estimate based on what is real. The condition of your home and any updates you've done, compared to similar ones in the area, will help us to collectively determine the right price range to sell your home.

Contract Negotiation

Once your home is on the market and a buyer is interested, he or she will submit an offer through their own agent. Should the offer differ from your asking price, you are able to reject or counter. Once you accept an offer, you’ll be officially under contract! During the due-diligence period between signing the purchase agreement and closing the sale of your home, we will keep you updated on each step in the process and work to ensure a smooth closing.

Closing on Your Home

Our office manager Shannon (The Great and Powerful OZ) works with title and escrow to ensure all parties work through all steps to complete the transaction. Once complete, you are ready to officially sell your home! You’ll sit down and sign paperwork transferring ownership of your home to the buyer. Then it’s time to celebrate — your home sale is complete and you can move on to your next adventure.
